St.
George, Utah is widely known for its sunshine temperate winter climate. This is area is fast becoming one of the great travel

to St. George to warm up away from the winter temperatures

Arts
Saint George has truly become
a center for entertainment. The Tuacahn Center
for the Arts near Snow Canyon State Park is
a 25 million dollar facility and home to famous
outdoor musical dramas and concerts. The St. George Musical Theater offers year round
theatrical productions and is popular with out of
town visitors. The Zion Canyon Cinemax Theater (IMAX
Film) near Zion National Park offers two films;
one film highlights the story of Zion National Park
and surrounding region. |

A very substantial schedule of concerts, plays,
art-shows and more are offered through the city,
Dixie College and private groups. The St. George City Art Museum stages
exhibits year-round featuring fine regional artists
as well as traveling exhibits of national and international
merit. Several excellent art shows are held at different
venues during the year. |
Golf
The St. George area offers a plethora of golfing experiences
from city courses to privately owned championship
golf courses. Golf is great in
St. George year-round.
Dixie
College
The cultural heart of St. George is Dixie
College. This comprehensive community college
has more than 7,000 students. The college is the
catalyst for many of the great events and activities
visitors enjoy, including the Southwest Symphony,
the Celebrity Concert Series, and other sports
events, festivals, concerts, and tours.
